Psychobilly strings were close, but not quite what I need. I kept the E string but for the rest it's back to the weedwackers.

Trying out a new drummer this week. Hopefully we start gigging in January 2010.

Damn, upright bass strings are expensive. Busted a wound gut, $75 for one string down the hole. Moving to Innovation Psychobilly strings, hopefully they don't suck.

I was talking to a cargo ship captain a while back. He said it takes something like 5 miles to bring one of those big bad girls to a full stop. I always thought that sounded so crazy, my only point of reference being a car. See obstacle, hit brakes, stop.
