I accomplished my plan today, which was to watch all three "Lord of the Rings" films in a row. 11 some-odd hours later, I'm very glad I did.
The problem is, now I don't really know what to do. Day's kinda shot now, and I'm all post-movie wired. I thought about trying to post some pictures of my wicked neck scar, but I'm having trouble getting them to come out well. I'll keep working at it.
I played Texas Hold'em last night. I'm not really sure what the big deal is, but people had fun, so I guess it all worked out. Don't know if I'll want to play again, though.

I saw absinthe for the first time the other night (the drink, not the SG hottie). It is the most green liquid I've seen since my old college roommates put the ink from a green highlighter in a liquor bottle, mixed it with water, and stuck it under the blacklight. Seriously, it looked like a flask full of nuclear waste. I thought my buddies were gonna turn into toxic avengers or something.
As of this coming Monday, I will have been living in E-ville for exactly a year. I really like it here, much more than I thought I would. Then again, I didn't even really start "living" here until about 6 months ago. Before that, I was always wanting to be somewhere else. September fixed all that, and I'm honestly better off. I'm happy now, at least.
