I did the world's worst job shaving tonight. The blades are getting dull, and I have no replacements around. And Mach 3's are expensive. Still, it's worth the money not to bleed so much, I think. I'm just glad it was only my face I was shaving...
So, what have I been up to?
Well, I'm listening to a few songs I found by Lacuna Coil. My brother said they were "the band Evanescence wished they were." I'm not sure. They're okay, but the singer is no Amy Lee. I'd pay to hear her sing the phone book.
What else...haven't been laid in about 2 months. That's starting to get to me.
In good news, I'm taking a weeks vacation which officially begins on Saturday, so that will be great fun. And at the end of the vacation, I will welcome my new cat to the apartment! His name is Samwise, he's fat, and he drools if you pet his belly. He kicks ass.
So, I'm going to close with a request. Recommend a band I should listen to. No matter the genre or anything. Maybe something you like but no one else really knows much about. I'll get things started. You should listen to Shun. They were a band out of Nashville, Tennessee, with roots in ambient techno and Tool. It'll take some looking to find their stuff, as the band no longer exists anymore, but it is well worth the research. If you are interested, there's a review of their EP "Michael in Reign" here: xroxx
I wrote it, too, which is cool. Okay, suggest away!
