Losing a close friend is something I know all too well (though different circumstances).  I, sincerely, feel for you and am very sorry for your loss.  But, applaud you for busting your ass to continue on the straight and narrow.

@kaptaine. I should've learned from the first friend I lost a few years back but I was too blinded by an addiction. But I'll say that the last 5 months have been much better than I imagined.  Hard to deal with the end of a 8 year relationship and trying to get sober at the sametime. That makes most people go back to using. I had no choice or I would've lost friends and family. I've never felt more alive and felt more emotions than I do now. It's weird. Lol. I really appreciate the kind words bro. Sorry to rant on. Lol. Good to know that there are good people on here.

I usually try not to air my issues on social media but I feel like I can on here. I was using drugs (heavy drugs) for almost 18 years. I spent the majority of my 20s n 30s numbing everything. About 5 months ago shit hit the fan and I got clean. It was the best decision I ever made. I can see clear again....
