Well! So! It's off to the field with me! I just found out on Sunday that I leave for almost three months on Friday. I'm going to be working in the same area I worked last year, up in northwestern British Columbia. The field area is a long way from nothing - it's only accessible by air, and it's a 1-hour flight from the nearest road. So I'm going to be doing some geological mapping and a bit of core-logging and other fun stuff. I'll basically get paid to hike for the summer - not a bad deal!

Anyways, so my account will probably be inactive most of the summer - we only have satellite internet, and the bandwidth is SUPER-limited, so I doubt they'd appreciate me cruising SG
