Oh, to be young again,
how different I would've been!
I would've been more confident
Spent more time with my friends.
I would've been more focused,
Not dealing with the hocus pocus.
Would've been more decisive,
A lot less devisive.
Less likely to be judgemental,
Not as tempermental.
More accepting of others
But not a love that smothers.
But alas! This cannot be,
For I'm now forty-three.
The only thing to be done
Is act like twenty-one!
