GOD BLESS AMNESIA
Wow, I am sure glad to hear Saadams sons are out of the picture. Qusai and Odai (or Uday) Hussein were bad bad men who oppressed their countrymen. You see--just when you start thinking our occupation in Iraq is going terribly wrong, something really good happens, like Qusai and Uday dying in a hail of bullets. Thats some perfect timing, dont you think? Surely this will boost the morale of the American public who will be voting for a President next Fall and for the troops we are depending on to carry out our interests in Iraq. Out of the blue, we find Saadams heir apparents and take them out. What fortune. Just when the President is left stammering and shuffling his feet over quoting from falsified information during his State of the Union address, the situation in Iraq takes a turn for the much better. God bless amnesia.
Any of those liberal doubters will be proven wrong with *photographic evidence* of the gruesome end of Qusai and Uday. Hey, we all know photographs never lie. Its not like you could take photos of Saadams sons and doctor them in Photoshop or something more sophisticated that say, the CIA or the military probably has in its possession. Its not like with the CIA in hot water for falsifying information or the Pentagon seeming to have fallen off the short bus with its occupation strategy that either would be desperate enough to concoct a false end to the murderous brothers. If they did that, Ousai and Uday would surely show themselves on public, waving their arms and saying, Were still alive, the men who oppressed and raped you! Over here! The infidels faked our deaths!
It was also a good thing they only had one bodyguard with them, as well. Imagine the luck! The Iraqi equivalent of the head of the CIA and the Vice-President out and about with only one bodyguard. Well, at least Ousai and Uday put aside their differences in the end, dying side by side in battle as Im sure they wanted. Perhaps it healed the old rift between them; you know the one, where Qusai had Uday shot down a few years ago. There was that and the struggle to be heir apparent but, I guess blood is thicker than water as the clich goes. I always considered them too saavy to be in the same place at the same time, but you know evil: Its just plain stupid.
So now that the evil brothers are dead, the axis of evil has been weakened and the good can continue to liberate the oppressed with the freedoms they surely had dreamed off. Well, right now thats freedom from electricity and freedom from being allowed to govern themselves, but good things come to those who wait. We all know all the troubles in Iraq following the end of combat were the work of the Hussiens. It surely wasnt that the populous was weary of an occupation that had only brought them death, infidels breaking into their homes, and a summer without basic services.
It is clearly time to celebrate. The dark months in Iraq have ended with the deaths of two evil doers. Now the Muslims and Arabs and other Iraqis, provided with (non doctored) photographic proof of evil being vanquished, will embrace the occupying forces with open arms. The Shia, Sunni, and Kurds will all put aside their differences, and many tear-filled hugs will be shared across the occupied nation. A new flag, most likely a yellow Smiley Face with a beard, will be raised as a new age of unity and peace dawns. From beneath their suffocating burkas, women too will celebrateif their husbands or male family members allow it.

Hmm. Reminds me of that Chumbawamba song "Amnesia." "do you suffer from long term memory loss? I can't remember."
