"Roommates"
The house lights were off. Thomas looked down at his watch. "Christ, its fucking 3am" Thomas sat up from his loft, and walked out to the front. As he turned around, he admired the house. The gothic style house on the river banks of Empire City couldn't of looked better. The lonely grey color of the bricks accented the sun that was just starting to peer over the horizon. Thomas took a seat on the steps. Lighting a cigar, he heard the porch door swing open behind him.
"Thought you quit" said Robert.
"I did, thought you were trying to fix your insomnia" Thomas laughed as he handed a second cigar for his friend.
"I was" Robert said.
Taking a drag on his light, Thomas looked over to Robert. "You owe me 200 dollars"
"Fuck you" was the only response he got.
