I think Hero should have won an oscar for 'best use of fabric in a foreign film'... Have you seen Zatoichi? It's a really cool jap movie, I saw it at the BIFF last year, but I think it's out on dvd now.

I won't be at uq until next tuesday, but I don't think I'll get a chance to meet up with you because I've gotta present a 2 hour seminar, so I'll be pretty darn busy! Besides, I don't think I can afford lunch this week, had an expensive weekend.

What the hell are you doing watching Getaway? That show pisses me off more than any other. It irritates me that these people get paid to go on holidays and do fuck all work. Awww thanks for the flowers!! I had a really great time today. I didn't bother going back to work, I just went straight home. But I did work at home anyway, so it wasn't a totally unproductive day. I think we both have to agree that the man dropping the top of his hamburger was the highlight.

I think thats cute how you think about trolleys as things. It made me remember seeing a trolly in the Currumbin Creek the other day when I went on my walk, it was pretty deep, all you could see was its wheel and thats about it. Now you have me feeling sorry for it

I saw House of the Flying Daggers, and I thought it was pretty boring.. I loved Hero & Crouching Tiger though, but other people liked it. If you like asian movies I recommend Zatoichi and, if your not easily offended, Ichi the Killer.
