Well, it's that time once again.... drum roll pleeeeazzzze.... Bianca's journal update!!
It's been a pretty tiring last two weeks. I've been sick (once again) apparently I have really low iron, my mum was in hospital again too, plus a few various other life obstacles were thrown at me. I added another friend to the grey friend list... it seems to just be growing and growing doesn't it? They know who they are and why they're on it... in fact they asked me to put them on it (they sent me a farewell forever email) ...
On the subject of friends... today is one of my gorgeous friends' birthday's so, Happy Birthday Clint!!!
Last night I went to see Henry Rollins spoken word with my big bro. That man is totally totally funny. I laughed from the time I sat down to the time I left and then some. He's an incredibly passionate person. It's cool how he always has and still does things he's own way that's real punk rock to me. Very entertaining.
Sorry I haven't been able to reply to all you guys recently, I will make a huge effort to shortly. Thanks for the happy words and for caring when I'm you guys are all totally neat... a pat on the pat and big massive hugs to you all. When I finally meet all of you in person I'm sure big hugs are in order
Last Friday night I went to see the New Zealand reggae band Katchafire who were great! I didn't much like The Herbs though that supported them. I know they're supposed to be like NZ reggae royalty but, they just didn't really do it for me personally. It was good to have a dance though. While I was dancing there was a girl who kept looking at me funny I think her boyfriend was dancing near me and anyways she just kept glaring at me. I chose to ignore her. Towards the end of one of the songs she pushes past me and purposely blows a bunch of smoke from her cigarette in my face and stands between me and her boy and just like latches on to him. Talk about insecure!! I was only dancing.... I can't wait till they outlaw smoking in pubs and clubs, that will indeed be a very happy day for me.
On the Saturday night I went to a friends' house warming at Springbrook, they live right near the national park. It's so beautiful and darn cold. We didn't even end up partying in the house we went to this picnic area near there and had a night time barbecue!! You could even build a fire in the undercover area. It was so good to see those guys again, it had been around two months or more since I last saw or heard from them. There's a pic of us with this post as I mentioned it was mega cold, you can tell by all the beanies and jumpers in the pic. It was also really dark besides the fire and candle light and I trip over a tree root and hurt my leg
After chilling with the crew for a while I went to another party on the Gold Coast (yes it was a huge night) with some other friends I haven't seen for a million years either. I like having all different friends it keeps things interesting!! Everyone (not me this time) were off their faces on what looked to be so very good pills.
Last Friday I also got presented with my badge for excellence it's real purrrrdy, it's a gold shooting star I also had a morning tea for being so excellent!!! ha ha! On the subject of morning teas I took part in that 'biggest morning tea' thingy to raise money for cancer. I think I ate too much sugar though
The zine is coming along swimmingly... I pretty much have all the tracks from bands now for the cd's and I really only do have a few pages to go.... very exciting... I'll be glad to see the finished product. I'll keep you guys posted though on all things zine related. I submitted an Unseen interview to SG so hopefully they'll like it and put it up. Talking to Mark was a blast he's super nice. I had an interview with Blackie from the Hard Ons yesterday too... he's so down to earth. I have a interview next week with someone whom I'm very humbled and excited to be interviewing I'll tell you more on it later...
I heard the first single from the Transplants forthcoming album and it's shit hot! I love everything Mr Armstrong does.... gush gush... he he...
One more working day to go... hooray. I'm glad I finish work early and am home by lunch time. I'm thinking about taking the Brazilian plunge... I'm sure it's probably been discussed on here before but, I'm curious to know what everyone's preference/thoughts on it is?
Also, I'm going to a gangster and flapper party in a couple of weeks and I'm going to get all dolled up. Seeing I'll be so glam I just may do a photo set... we'll see... I've got an amazing red dress, fishnets, feather boa and some sparkling accessories.... mmmm, saucy! Ha, ha!
My friend Sutch messaged me from England, he was at the punk rock, Wasted Festival and apparently he's met my twin!!! I didn't think any one else in the world looked like me!
I've also signed up for boxing at my gym... I have a bit of aggression I really think I need to get out in a civilized way.
I'm also going to get together with a couple of friends soon to record a song for my cd I'm going to start working on.... busy busy busy.... but oh so exciting... I'm finally going to get my wish!!
That's about all to report from my world at the moment... going out with friends on Saturday nite in the Valley we're going to try a new place to eat on James St then maybe head into the Valley for some debauchery mmmmm my favourite!!!
I'm outie....
