Sorry it's been a while since I updated... I've been sooo busy and a tad stressed. I've been writing my application for a Senior position at my work... it's done now., I just have to wait. I should know if I get an interview within the week as the position needs to be filled asap. I almost thought I lost my application, my computer has being doing strange things.
I just fell over a few moments ago and I bruised my leg, knee and my ribs and back are sore... I hit the ground pretty hard.... ouch!
SG put my Anti-Flag interview up! I'm very excited about it.
Last weekend I went and saw Anti-Flag play. They were pretty amazing, kind of renewed my faith in punk rock after watching them play - they were vibrant and exciting... although one of my friends who's band played with A-F said they were kind of too-cool... I don't know though? They were totally nice to me.... I'm so in lust with #2!!! I want to the all ages show as I had my friend, Chantel's (surprise) wedding to go to that night. She's getting married (again) in Vegas this month. It was a pretty casual affair but, awesome none the less on the tables they had these little toy coffins with chocolate casino chips, skull and bat rings and balloons with spiderwebs and scary things. I already have my wedding dress for the day I get married. It's so weird most people get the dress after they're engaged and they go shopping with their bridesmaid people and look through a million bridal magazines to find it and it costs them about a squillion dollars. I found my dress when I was shopping for groceries with my mum about a year or so ago. I saw it in a store window and decided to try it on for fun. Once I had it on I knew this is the dress. It's pink satin, with mauve antique French lace and dark pink glitter it's hard to describe but it's soooo perfect for me. It looks damn classy like I'm going to the Oscars or something! The lady even put it in a leopard print box.
I have some pix of me a friend took after going out the other night, they're pretty saucy... I don't know if I'm brave enough to post 'em here though! Maybe sometime soon... he... he...
This weekend I'm going to a friends house warming... other than that I think it might be pretty low key.
Next week will be a killer. I have a Simple Plan face-to-face interview on Monday arvo, then Greenday that night, plus it's my mum's birthday! Tuesday night is The Prodigy, Wednesday I have a face-to-face with Nick 13 from Tiger Army then Tiger Army is that night as well as Friday night down the Coast - And sometime in between all of that I have to fit going into work and finishing the new zine. I have all early morning shifts next week so I'm going to be one tired girl. It'll all be worth it though.
I think I might be going camping sometime soon too I love camping! I really want to get out in nature and connect with it again. My best friend SJ and her partner Deano moved into a new house at Springbrook in the Gold Coast Hinterland, it's not far from Purlingbrook Falls. I'd love to live out there one day.
