ah the lovely drunkeness I have been missing has found me once more.
But this time is different, I remember coming home and I have not passed out yet.
If anyone has not yet tried the most delicious korean liquor Soju, then you must.....call every sushi place in town and ask if they serve it.Not many do, I believe only three in the San Francisco/Oakland area. If you live around here then go to Koryo Sushi (open until like 2am) in Oakland on 42nd and telegraph ave. In the Korean strip mall. They have a couple different varieties of soju, but we always get Lemon Soju. It comes in a carafe and is mixed with 7-up or squirt and lemons....sounds gross but, I swear it is a completely different intoxication than you can experience anywhere else. We liken it to ecstacy, not exactly but something similar. It's $12 a bottle there and 3 of us have downed 5 before (and we were given a straight bottle as a gift to take home.)
I first tried it in Alaska, where it is illegal. A friend of a friend who was a pilot smuggled it from Korea. We mixed it with Dr. Pepper then, and my obsession was born.
I was more than pleasantly surprised when I saw it on the menu of my boyfriend's favorite restaurant when I moved here.
Such a lovely concoction......must jump my boi now.
Goal for tomorrow:
Save all energies for Subhumans show, jealous fuckers?!?!?!
