Jewelry was naturaly the home version of blacksmithing so I read any books I could find. Got a bunch from a friend's mother who is an established smith in the states. Then found out the local Lapidary club had classes which gave me the push to get where I am now.
Always figured it was going to be my future. Metal working of some sort.

I need to recycle. I really would do it a lot more if they made it easier here in my community. I agree with you on most of the other stuff as well. Although it sounds like you are really concerned about the well being of books. For me books are nice, but I dont get to overly protective of them.
