Alright, enough of that depressing topic.
Christmas! (For some a new depressing topic.)
(Or for my family, Yule!)
And I must admit that up until this year I would have agreed with them on the depressing nature of this time of the year. The hussle and bustle of working in retail, crabby people, trying to figure out wha tto buy people because you feel obligated to get them something- but you honestly have no clue what they'd like.
(This year, they're all getting the Bigfoot biography.. funny as all hell.)
But for some reason, this year- I'm not filled with dread, but rather excitement.
Am I going to be putting Christmas lights on my house, or wearing santa pins?
I think not. I need to ease into this re-found holiday.
But I did buy a little fake tree and put some decorations on it
