Unfortunately I don't know Jacksonville very well. Check out www.floridastateparks.org, there are a few nice parks. There are some springs between Jacksonville and Tallahassee, but you would have to try to search online to get the locations. The South Metro YMCA is supposed to have a really nice indoor rock climbing gym. Sorry I can't give you any better info. 
i have decided to move to florida. i will be leaving on the 23 of this month if things work out. as of right now there are only a few problems, all concerning funding. i dont have enough money for truck rental and it is going to cost 2000 dollars even with a bunch of discounts. i will be driving there and need my things......
