Whoa, I had the best birthday ever. I went down to Seattle to see the burley-q ladies in action, and there was a free hardcore show over at 2nd Ave. Pizza, so I went over there while waiting for the ladies to go on. I only had time to see Breathless Mahoney play, but first off, killah name, and the bass player had an SG sticker on his bass, so that was pretty rad and worth the sore feet I got walking there from Graceland. After the ladies gave a wicked awesome performance, and I went up to say goodbye, I came down to be surprised by fellow Canadians 3 Inches of Blood who had just arrived in town for a performance they were to have in a few days. It was so great seeing Cam and the boys, but I was sad to be missing their performance, which was last night there, I hope lots of you went out to get your metal on. I'm hoping they'll be able to come back to the island for a show soon.
To finish off my birthday when I got home, I went out for Karaoke with some friends, and we got a private room at the bubble tea place. It was so great, I'm still nursing a sore throat from too much metal screaming. I think this is my new favorite thing.
Fun activity on the horizon: MAC makeup party with the ladies! Three MAC makeup artists are coming to a party to show us tips, so much more exciting than Mary-Kay.
One more thing: I need someone to sponsor my shoe habit. If any of you own a shoe company that's rad, consider sponsoring a needy burlesque troupe, like, oh, I don't know, the BettiLu Bombshells. It's a great cause.

Who wouldn't want to own and wear a pair of shoes named... "The Bettina" or perhaps "The LuluMae."
We are a great cause. Cause we're great.
bu-dum-dum CHING! I'll be here all night, folks.
