Wow, thanks everyone for all your lovely comments on my recent set! I can't believe it's almost up to 2000 comments!! That's a serious personal best (albeit slightly inflated by the automated "I loved it" response people can now add, but whatevs). If you haven't commented yet, but like it, help push me over the edge!!
I'm pretty caught up on filling orders for Coquette Faux Furriers, this has been my busiest season yet by far, I think due in large part to having my two favourite modern glamour gals modeling for me: Bernie Dexter and Dita Von Teese! Thanks so much ladies! Here are my fave shots of them in my products:
Dita Von Teese

Here's a little ad I made up with me and my international burlesque troupe, the
GLAM-O-RAMA Girly Show, in our custom burlesque stoles. I was going to put it in BUST magazine for winter, but their ad rates have jumped considerably since I last placed one, so for now I'll just have to post it around. If you want to help spread the faux-fur word, you can post this around if you like too, and help me quit my dayjob! *dreams*
As usual, I'm a busy girl these days, not just with the sewing, but with a bunch of fun shows and appearances coming up. In two weeks, my local troupe the
Capital City Cheeseecake Burlesque Revue will be having their second show at Lucky Bar on October 24th, so if you're in the Victoria area, please come check us out!
Then in November I'll be going on a fun road trip with go-go Amy to visit our fellow GLAM-O-RAMA girl Tana the Tattooed Lady at her casino gig! The following weekend I'll be in San Francisco at perform at papawheelie's next show, the Bawdy Island Burlesque Hullabaloo! I haven't performed in that town since March 2005 with the BettiLu Bombshells, so I'm looking forward to seeing all the rest of the fabulous performers. All of the music at this show will be performed live, so it's going to be pretty spectacular! Papawheelie's last big show was covered in the December issue of Skin & Ink magazine which is out now, go take a look!
(I created both of those show posters too, fyi)
Alright, I think that's all for now, how is everyone enjoying fall? I am so excited to be pulling out my cute scarves and hats and faux fur stoles, pretty soon I'll pull out the heavy sweater box, woo! I'm crossing my fingers that there will be thunderstorms as forcasted tonight, such perfect snuggly weather!
