My life is slowly returning to it's normal hectic pace, down from crazy out of control busy. First off, thank you so much to the three fabulous members who pre-paid for 8x10s that didn't yet exist so I could buy my dream shoes, I snagged them last Friday when I was down in Seattle performing and modelling. Papawheelie was kind enough to shoot the photos of me in the shoes, and I've found the perfect photo to make into prints, which will be available exclusively to SG members, as I won't be posting the nude shot on my personal website or myspace. I will only be printing these photos once, so if you missed out the first time around, but still want one, let me know by Monday, as that is when I'll be sending them off to print. Signed prints are $35 (shipping included), and look like this photo without the black robe. Trust me, you'll want one. I have a crush one me in these shoes.

I had a great weekend in Seattle, performing at The Noc Noc with
Sydni, and papawheelie was kind enough to play his lovely little ukulele for my second number, and I think we did a pretty good job considering we'd never practiced it together, and I had only ever gone over my choreography in my head, in the lunch room at work. Bad Bettina!! Lots of folks came out to the show, I got to meet Blyss and her man for the first time, that lady is even more gorgeous than her photos let on, seriously. I hope I get to see more of those two next time I'm in town!
GoGo Amy can by with her betrothed, she sure adds a dash of glamour to any room!
The next day I met up with Ruby Slipper, another great Seattle burlesque performer (who I will be going on tour with as well as GoGo Amy in September, woo!) to do a photoshoot and interview with Shimmy Magazine, a great new magazine devoted to burlesque! We talked about my cruelty-free costumes and my faux fur business, and then after a hot photo session, we went out for vegan treats, so yummy!
On Saturday after another shoe-shopping day, we went to see Ruby Slipper perform at the Pink Door with an all-star cast of cuties:

Miss Indigo Blue, Vienna LeRouge, Ruby Slipper, The Swedish Housewife! And so many other ladies (and a gentleman!), it was a great show. Curses on that big pole for blocking out their super adorable pick-up artist in the photo. After decadent dessert and twirling tassles, we whisked Ruby Slipper back home (lucky me!) for midnight supper. I can't wait to be crammed in a car for over a week with this lovely lady!

Ok, I think that pretty much sums up last weekend. I'm busy rehearsing for the grand unveiling of my new burlesque troupe, the
Capital City Cheesecake! It's Tuesday, July 25th at Lucky Bar with music by Yum Yum Bang Bang, and Boylesque by Teddy Smooth, so I hope you local kids will be there, this is going to be some night!
