Just say no to drugs (mostly cocaine):
2004=
1 death due to overdose (23 year old)
1 heart attack due to overdose (26 year old)
1 overdose resulting in hospitalization (17 year old)
another death due to overdose (same 26 year old)
another heart attack due to overdose
(21 year old).
The 2 who died were my roomate's close friends so I am less affected than he is but the world around me is not good right now.
And I don't hang out in some big drug scene or anything either. Just suburban 20-something whateverness.

honestly i'm surprised more of us don't die during college, so many of my friends have had drug problems.
