I got another rejection slip today. This time, the editor wrote it on the back of a shopping list which was about 2 by 3 inches and written by a little kid.
I get the weirdest rejection slips. I mean, do they really think they're being clever?
Those who cannot write, edit. I want to change that trend, though. Maybe when I grow up, I'll start a magazine. If I rejected someone, I wouldn't send it on the back of a shopping list.

But really, you should you be glad you didn't get that job. Do you really want to work with people that are such jerks they send you a rejection slip on the back of a shopping list? that's just low.
Good luck with your search!
