I’ve been very fortunate in life. I’ve had the opportunity to graduate from a top university in the United States, travel the world, own cars, help my parents retire, and experience so much more. However, one thing I try to never forget is how quickly everything I have could be taken away. Life can change in an instant, and that reminds me to take a

My dad had a stroke two weekends ago, he was very lucky, I just happened to be visiting when that happened so a prompt reaction and the ambulance coming fast basically saved him from the worse, so the reminded was... having people around can be life-saving, and the other lesson is take it day by day, enjoy little things, tomorrow you may not be able to...
berlin_2013:
@sdawg74 wow. That is pretty scary and I am glad you were there visiting. I agree with you and appreciate you sharing. @fredhincanada appreciate the support and being able to relate in one way or another can make a huge difference in someone's life. Knowing no matter what you are going through you are not alone. There is always someone out there that has been or is going through something similar and being able to support someone during their challenges can be life changing/saving.

From January 12th through the 15th, we will witness the Wolf Moon. This name originates from a time when hunters ventured out into the cold winter nights to find food for their families. As they braved the harsh conditions, they would often hear wolves howling at the moon throughout the night. Thus giving it the name Wolf Moon 🐺❄️

fredhincanada:
I will be glad to see the Wolf Moon from my front window. Lol.

fredhincanada:
Excellent!

Tell us about one of your favorite songs of all time:

Your Guardian Angel by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus

It’s hard for me to explain why certain songs or TV series resonate so deeply with me, but I know these two will always hold a special place in my heart. The West

A video game that you have spent the most of hours playing:

No long story behind this topic other than spending way too many hours in season release queues and thousands of hours grinding maps with friends. Great times.

As always thanks to @fredhincanada for this!

Classic game 😃

Tell us about something you have created that you love:

I’ve never considered myself particularly creative, but there’s something special about this puzzle. It’s a collection of memories from my trip to New York City in 2013—a trip I had dreamed about for as long as I can remember. Since I was a kid, I always envisioned myself being in Times Square for the New...

A Book Series I Love: The Wheel of Time

One of my all-time favorite book series is The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan. It is a masterclass in world-building, with a richly detailed world full of magic, history, and amazing character developments. The series is not just about epic battles or grand quests, it is also about personal growth, struggles between light and dark,...

@wizard0 Thanks for the recommendations! I have not read The Dresden Files or Melanie Rawn’s books yet, but I will definitely be adding them to my list. I am a big fan of Patrick Rothfuss’s work as well. I just wish he’d write faster! I am sure all the George RR Martin fans say the same thing about his series.  @kiley I completely agree about The Wheel of Time. It’s a long series, but absolutely worth it. The first book really pulls you in, and once you’re hooked, it’s hard to stop!

I read the first book of this and loved it. It was a wee struggle for me so I kept it to the one book
