Think I got a bit lost in the hair at some point and had to put this away for a lil. I kept looking at it and thinking "just not ready to tackle this again".
Well, the best cure for procrastination is to just start... Makes sense. So I painted in Marlene's pony tatt and forced myself to move back to her hair. Still not loving it, too busy, too many directions, I don't know. But hopefully I can pull something out of it.
I realise this is one of those points in a painting I find myself in where it no longer resembles the image I had in my head to begin with, and I have to adjust my conception of it and paint/draw the picture it is now and not try and force it to be what I originally hoped for.
