For those of you who go into chat you know that I have a PC in my car along with mobile broadband internet and when I'm driving to and from work I usually go into chat and start up Driving Cam. Tonight I was driving to work and needed some food. I stopped off at the Albertsons grocery store by my work and when I left my truck the cam was working fine but when I got back with my pasta and chili it was off. I thought "hm, that's weird. Whatever, I'm sure it'll work fine if I restart chat. No sense to do that though, I'm half a mile from work."
I started up my truck and left the Albertsons parking lot, watching CFQ practice her stretching. About 1/4 mile up the road I stopped for a red light and just watched CFQ stretch. It was such a beautiful sight. I looked up to see if the light had turned green and just as I looked up I saw this guy in a mid 80s Nissan truck turn right in front of an `07 Honda Civic and create a head-on collision.
It wasn't that bad an accident, probably 25mph combined closing speed max, barely fast enough to deploy the airbag in the Civic. It was basically the most perfect crash to ever get on cam. And it happened directly in front of where the cam points to. That would have been sooooo fucking epic to have had my cam on for that. I was so unbelievably disappointed. I really wanted that screencap.
Remember kids. If you see me in chat, gimme a quick dock. If I'm driving (you also know by my using bold text) you'll definitely wanna keep me docked. If I'm at home I don't care who watches me, in fact I have no idea why people do dock me, but if I'm driving, you really should watch my cam. You never know what you're gonna see. Rest assured I won't be making another post like this saying what could have been, the next time something happens on Driving Cam it could be to me or god knows what. Rest assured the camera will be rolling regardless. And I'll be bringing the action to you LIVE!
