I just looked back in my journals and, although I didn't look super thouroghly, I didn't see anywhere that I'd mentioned how I've been hyperactive since I was a child (that wikipedia entry cites hyperactivity as having a reduced attention span and being overly emotional which i've never seen). It's likely that nothing else had more of an affect on my development and shaping me into the person I am today. For example I was always trying to go as fast as I could no matter where I was or what I was doing, especially when riding a bike, which got me into racing. Also I was always climbing on top of things such as climbing into rafters and such. That gave me super great ballance and probably helped me to be as good as I was at gymnastics by giving me a lot of control over my body especially in dangerous cercumstances.
One of the more minor aspects was how it got me into a lot of trouble when I was younger. But since then I've, of course, learned to manage it and even learned how to turn it on and off when I need it. I learned a while back that I'll get an energy burst when I drink a lot of water and don't eat. I blame proper digestion.
At any rate, when I do get hyper I'll often move around my work or wherever just like this.
