Okay so its been a fair while since my last update.
I'll do my best to remember what ive been up to but sadly im slightly boring these days as I most just work, so ll break it down into (mostly) dot points
APRIL
- Continuing my photography residency at Chris Huzzard Studios in the Perth CBD
- Working with and Learning from some amazing photographers, makeup artists and models
- Taught my first photography tutorial (as a substitute for another resident who failed to show up) which was fun and highly stressful. Thankfully the set up I was given to teach is essentially the one I use most in the studio
- Did a shoot for record store day (which the client promptly used for an article in XPRESS without permission and essentially defeated the entire point) definite low light
- Began Working at Parker Nightclub as a supplement to my photography income due to the increasing number of kids offering rubbish 'nightclub photography' for free.
- Started seeing a new girl. She's a bit younger than me and I'm undecided as to how I feel about that as I definitely notice the age difference when it comes to certain issues. She's alot of fun though and has been challenging my thinking in some ways.
- Official BTS Photographer for the Huzzard Studio Makeup and Model Showcase which was amazingly good fun to photograph even if I wasn't given any sort of brief. I would up shooting some studio 3/4 length profile shots and then catwalk stuff as well as makeup prep. Very under the pump but really happy with how the images turned out.
- Birthday Photographer for the 60th of one of my family's business' longest serving staff members. There was a shooting gallery, roulette wheel and camel rides! (for the kids).
- Best mate Dan arrived back from Kalgoorlie and we went out to Reuben's for Annemarie's welcome party/bday. Was a Very drunk BENJI on the way home and highly inappropirate joker lol but absolutely great night.
-My friend Michelle came back for a visit from Sydney.
