Anyone in the Philly area, please respond. This is very important.
I don't want to lose anyone else.
steve had a perpetual beard and a wicked sense of humor, wore wool socks and birkenstocks (and didn't care that i made fun of him), he decided in his 30's that he wanted to START writing graffiti, had an impressive talent for leaving the ladies "in a family way", and could co-chair a mean ass kids party. (who could forget the legendary Ukee Club 3way bday party???) i will REALLY miss having him to help out this March 12th
I called him stevie beats...(but i think i stole that from jeff...)
Anyway, Kristin pulled together an amazing benefit for Oli and Helena...Please come!! The information is on the flyer at the bottom
the following is straight from kristin's blog on her myspace page:
Sunday we finally got started on the artwork for the benefit. Marlee, Helena and Lola all helped out, and I just colored all of it in...(little kids are way too lazy to paint an entire blue "sky")
It ended up looking like a beach scene, which is great. My favorite part of the day was when Lola was like, "so can I paint, like, words on it?" and I answered, "you can put whatever you want on it." That's when she painted "LIVE IN LOVE" across the top. I was floored.

benjiso:
My friend, Shannon, wrote the previous text. Her daughter, Lola was one of the artists.
