I'm kind of working full time at the moment. I've kept my friday job, found a job I can stop by when I feel like, and I'm working at a moving company. Mostly I'm at the moving company. It's not as hard physicaly as I thought it would be and it's only a ten minute walk from my place. I'm 27 and this is the first time in my life I've been able to walk to work, it's nice. I also get tips, I did get tips at sub way when I worked there, but that was like $1.43 one night and $.76 the next kind of thing, at the restaurant I washed dishes for I ended up with like $5 every paycheck. I did get $20 at the gas station when I saved someones roof rack, which so far ties for my biggest tip ever, but that was the only tip I got there. I've worked at the moving place for three days so far and picked up around $34 in tips, fuck yeah!
I got to reject staples, as their job didn't pay enough.
I got to reject warehouse 1, as their job likely wouldn't pay enough.
thursday I'm going to try and find the managers of a couple of shops I dropped resumes at when they were unavailable.
I whipped out the old TI-83 for some number crunching and if I manage to work 4 shifts a week moving people crap, I'll make $400 more per pay period that when I had my full time welding job... At least untill my back pay runs out.
