Quote of the moment: nice bum, were you from.
from the best episode of Mantracker, i've ever seen.
You know how automotive salvage yards are sometimes called bone yards? The metaphor gained a little bit when I was looking for an air intake piece last week. normally it would have been a matter of walking threw row on row of broken, battered and slowly disolving piece by piece cars. Opening up hoods, like the engines coffin lid and searching for the chunk of plastic I was looking for. This time I needed a shovel. There was still 14 inches of snow on the ground, and on the cars. So I was digging them out enough to look in threw missing grills or clearing hoods off to open them. Robbing snowy graves.
The odd result was I found the piece I was looking for ($30 cash) and it came off the same car that the rest of the intake I was going to be using, that my brother had gotten a month or so ago. So I managed to reunite two bits from the junkyard. I found that kind of cool.
Kristen the waitress update:
She's from parksville. Her parents are separated. and She got a really nice looking necklace of a lock and key and two starfish earrings. She said who gave them to her but I forget his name I wonder if its her boyfriend, or step dad maybe? I think she would have said 'my boyfriend gave me this' rather than use his first name to some one who hasn't met him. She was talking really fast today too, and she hadn't started work yet so it wasn't busy for her. I hope she was excited, not nervous.

Zak doesn't have a hawk. He just has half his head shaved.
adria:
Ha ha nope, he's never had a mohawk. And I saw Stoya only very very briefly.
