Ok, so I haven't posted a blog in a really long time. I have this list of 25 random things I posted on my facebook that I'm am going to post here. Doherty gave me the idea. So here it goes:
1. I am a chocoholic. It's an addiction I struggle with everyday.
2. I can bend my thumbs backwards without the aid of my other hand.
3. I plan to be engaged by 2010 (don't worry, Sarah already knows)
4. I have 3 very meaningful tattoos. A Green Day tattoo, the Tree of Life tattoo, and a Mickey Mouse tattoo. Some may consider my tattoos to be silly, but they all mean a lot to me.
5. Green Day tattoo: It represents the relationship I had with my dad after my parents divorced. We both loved Green Day and went to a lot of concerts together. It also has a hidden guitar and a woodstock dove on it. These represent how the music in the 90's influenced me.
6. Tree of Life tattoo: It's based off of a Celtic symbol with my own twist to it. It represents my mother. She raised me from a seed and gave me the courage and knowledge to grow into the tree I am becoming. It says "mom" in the roots.
7. Mickey Mouse tattoo: represents my childhood memories. My parents used to take me to Disneyland almost every year. It's small because I wanted it to be a "hidden Mickey" (for those disney fans out there, you know what I'm talking about).
8. I love 90's rock. No other era compares.
9. Sarah is not only my girlfriend, she is my best friend, the love of my life, and someone who I can count on to be there for me the rest of my life. Sounds sappy, but now I know how all those saps feel.
10. I love Disneyland! I have a season pass and have gone 3 times since september and we are planning at least 3 more trips before our pass is up in sept. 09.
11. I hate V8 or any other type of tomato juice. I don't care how healthy it is for me.
12. I love to eat peanut butter and bologna sandwiches. Sounds gross right? SOOOO good!
13. I plan on becoming a director at the YMCA some day. Maybe membership, maybe youth and teens, or maybe even executive director. Not sure yet, but I'm trying to work my way up.
14. I love the Community Support Campaign at the Y. Although, I don't like to brag about how much I give, because I don't want to seem like a kiss-ass. That would be doing it for the wrong reasons. Word has gotten out at work about how much I donated, which kind of annoys me.
15. I can't wait to get out of San Jose State so I can move on with my life. I'm hoping to graduate in less than 2 years.
16. I like big butts and I can not lie.
17. As a child I was afraid of aliens. Now I just think they are cool.
18. I am a firm believer in the Law of Attraction. I tie it with religion because the bible even speaks of the law of attraction, it just doesn't call it that.
19. For the past 2 weeks I have made a goal to do at least 3 things a day that will move my life forward in any way. This could be for my health, job, school, relationship, friendship, family, or any other part of my life.
20. I love to laugh.
21. My jokes are not always funny to other people. But I only say them to make myself laugh. I guess that makes me a selfish joke teller.
22. I have number dyslexia. It's undiagnosed, but I know I have it.
23. I love having surgeries. I love the drugs they give me before the surgery, and all the attention and pampering I get after it. The pain is just a small price to pay.
24. I have a tube in my brain called a shunt. Its a tube that goes from my head to my stomach. It drains water out of my brain. You can see it on my neck if you look for it. Ask me next time you see me and I'll show it to you.
25. I love being in a wheelchair. The challenges it gives me helps me grow. I experience life in a way that not very many people get to experience. And for that I am blessed.
