So, the trip to North Carolina to visit my good friend who's currently in training at Camp Geiger was good. He may even get through with training in the next few months, though both myself and his girlfriend (also know as my sister) continue to hope that his asthma will get him discharged. Regardless, we all had a lot of fun on the trip and hope to go back again when possible...though next time, I think I'll let someone do more than 3 hours of the 13 hours driving! I'd post pictures, but I'm a horrid slacker who hasn't picked up a digital camera yet...though I do plan on trying to scan in a few pics to at least update my tiny selection of photos.

Now, I just have to figure out a way to get him off base long enough to hit the Burlesque show....
