So it seems that I never really remember to update my Blog here, which isn't that unusual when I compare it to other "blog" sites that I use. Anyway, life continues in much the same pattern for me as it has for the past few years, though I do hope that school life will once again become part of my life. I think this time I'll wind up in the History branch of things, as I've ruled out working with computers as a life's goal. I love fiddling with them, and enjoy using them...but the more I work on fixing other peoples computers, the more I start to dislike it!
On the upside of things, it appears that a new apartment is on the horizon. A good friend is moving to a fairly nice place, with reasonable rent (and greatest bonus to me, broadband internet), so by the first of the year I should be closer to actual civilization. After that, I should be hitting Ole Miss again for more classes...though I think I'm going to go back to the local community college to nab the two classes I need for my Associates' degree in Computer Information Systems. Though I'm fairly well past the point where I really need those classes, the hours should still transfer, and above that having even an associates in CIS will help out on future job prospects.
Lastly, seems that my heart continues to hover around the same status since 2002. No major improvements in the function, but no degradation either, so that's good news. I'm pretty well versed now in everything that the Dilated Cardiomyopathy entails, so I'm not looking for any surprises in the near future. At least I've learned how much alcohol is OK and how much moves into the "bad" area

Yeah, but I don't really want a Monarch following me around. I doubt anyone I know could pull that costume off like it's meant to be. I mean, The Monarch is like a god among mere mortals! How could anyone even THINK they could be a close match to that?! And also the facial hair is way extreme.

Ah, the glorious South. It opens in B'ham and Huntsville on 12/15 and Atlanta 10/27.
