i went to new zealand for two weeks (my grandmother died). it was really, really, really good to be at home! it was warm and sunny and beautiful and filled with people who love me and who i love. and very good food (i love feta). there's no place like home, dorothy.
i am back in japan in full-on money-saving mode, determinded to have my nice break in the states (sf! woo!) between japan and england. burning man, yes! i blew a massive hole in my budget by going home, but i think i can i think i can i think i can save enough to still make it.
i might have to cancel my paid membership to this here site, as my visa is way over its limit and purchases down to the strictly essential.
meanwhile, i've fallen in lust with a fictional character from a few decades ago. woe is me.
