So to start off my November.
Firstly, it was my Husbands birthday and this year I made sure I had my shit together to make it a birthday he will always treasure...
Last year was a big birthday for him, but unfortunately we were both in bad places, and I hate to say it, but nearly on the verge of breaking up. Not because we didn't love one another or care, but because we were both lost.
Enough of that! This year though; On Saturday, We had a family day out at The Shrek Adventure in London. Followed by an amazing lunch at (yes, it's a chain, and was my happy accidental discovery) Las Iguanas and topped off with a mosey along Southbank, with 2 very happy and content children, A play on the little beach, a night-time tour around London and then a spectacular views of not just 1 firework diplay but a cities worth.
Sunday, we had a lovely evening out with friends, again for scotts birthdya (and a late present of mine) eating amazing food and going to see BlackBerry Smoke perform at the Kentish Town Forum. The were LOUD and totally awesome!
Monday, we went to watch my all time favourite band, the Cadillac three at The O2 Academy in Islington. (One of Scotts pressies, as he likes them equally, although he probably doesn't think the lead singer is an absolute fitty like I do?!) They, guys and girls were MUCH LOUDER!!
It's been so nice spending so much quality time as a family and as a couple. I have truly treasured the last few weeks. And the next days/weeks are gonna be truly frickin awesome too! I FINALLY get my tattoo fixed tomorrow. 1 of 2 full day sittings... eek... and then I'm taking the hubby to see one of his personal favourite singers Brantley Gilbert.
So concerts, cakes, fried chicken dinners, cd's, dvd's and Raiders gear I'm hoping this year I've made it up to him for being such a shitty wife last year... Although none of that matters... my favourite part of the month so far was last night; in bed by 8.30pm. Kids asleep. Just us, snuggled up watching a movie...
