So a few days ago, my husband came up with an amazing idea over dinner.
I was approached by a charity orginisation a few weeks back, to ask if I could help promote their clothing line.
In looking further at their back round and taking a look at their website, as you do... We realised, just how wonderful a cause it was. Their motto being "Everyone should be able to express him or herself". Which I do believe to be perfect for this site in particular. They also donate 50% of their earnings to smaller charities, (in which they change regularly) so that everyone stands a chance.
So, in order for them to be recognised...my husband thought I should start the ball rolling by doing a t-shirt selfie train... "whats that?" I hear you ask...well, I've taken a selfie in the aforementioned shirt, in the hopes that sg's and sgh's will see it, inbox me their address and I can then post the T on to them for them to do the same... (I've explained it all in my instagram post.)
I'm keeping this to instagram, as it's easier for me to keep track with its progress, because I'm only having to worry about 1 mail place. Doesn't mean I can't blog about it though!! :)
This I feel is a great idea. Not only is it having a very positive community feel to it, it's helping out a worthwhile charity, it's saving them valuable time and money by not having to hand out free t-shirts for promotional purposes and chase other people that might not be interested, and let's face it....It doesn't take anything to smile for a picture... all this for a small cost of postage and packaging...
Let's see how far this can go. Let's see how many gorgeous smiles we can make from 1 t-shirt and a single selfie. And if that doesn't motivate you let's see how much help we give 1 charity trying to help and make a difference to hundreds of smaller causes.
