Okay....
So I didn't win Suicide Beauty Queen of the week this week... but the very sexy Delane totally rocked the contest and snagged the title. Go Delane!
I guess it's safe to assume that I didn't get into the tour either. Thinking back on the whole experience, I'm proud that I went, and if given the chance, I would totally jump on the opportunity to do it again (maybe this time with a little more confidence and attitude on stage... I think I may have shown a bit too much nervousness). I'm curious to see who made the final cut. Regardless, this show is going to be hot.
So now having faced two losses, I am super stoked that my aunt has given me permission to redecorate her house. I'm going to start in the room that I'm staying in and make it total artsy-fartsy. It's going to be fantastic! We went to the fashion district to pick fabric for curtains, and later to home depot for paint (tomorrow will be super busy, but it's going to be bad-ass!). Once I've finished "my room," I can move on to my brother's old room. Apparently I have complete freedom to do whatever I want with that room. I'm still thinking about all the possibilities (god, I'm such a geek). Once Ive finished all that, I get to paint the kitchen and the bathroom (I'm assuming i get to pick the colors, considering the amount of freedom I've been given), then I can attempt to make her bar fully functional (get some stools, clean it up nicely, get the light to work, and stock it up).
So me and my geekiness are off to get some more cleaning done so that I can start tomorrow with some painting.

I love renovating houses. Can't wait til I have one that I can work on myself. But I would start with the bar first!
