After a longer wait than expected, I finally received my copy of Resident Evil 4 in the mail. I played for a while last night, and man, has Capcom ever outdone themselves this time! This is the most INTENSE game I've played to date. I had my doubts and concerns, but have since layed them to rest. Play it! Play it now!
In other news, I met a friend of my girlfriend's last night, and saw many many pictures from his travels in Japan. It just made me realize how desperately I need to get there. I'll be calling UWM tomorrow to figure out what I need to do to get in their Japanese class. On top of this, her friend also informed me that he is part of a class that teaches Kenjutsu (Japanese swordfighting)... When the hell did we get THAT in Milwaukee?! At any rate, Japan rocks.
Lastly, I just found out that a friend of mine who tattoos out in South Dakota (used to live there), is going to be at Shades Of Blue in Lacrosse! This is fantastic news, 'cause now I might be able to get my 1/4 sleeve finished! If anyone is planning on going to this tat con, you should look her up. Her name's Erin, with Affinity Body Art. She's good shit.
And just a little question for everyone out there... I've been noticing over time, little signs that our country doesn't seem to be doing too well for itself lately. One of the things I've noticed lately, is that there seems to be a larger number of panhandlers these days. I actually had some guy pull up in his car, and ask for money for gas so he could get home. Has anyone else noticed anything like this? Or other things maybe?
Alright, I'm outta here. I have some artwork to attend to. Until next time, play Resident Evil 4, and watch Casshern. Doctor's orders.
