fuck fuck fuck
ok, now i feel better...
the good computer in our house is being an absolute bitch lately. we reinstalled windows and now i can't find a bunch of stuff i need to get the internet back up on it again.
i went for a supper meeting tonight and ate about 5 noodles in total because i had to talk so much.
it's cold in my house and i think i'm going to go for a bath to warm up and just veg for a while...
on a good note plenty o' sex has returned to the house of kim and it's mine... good times were had by both.
the play this weekend was great. i laughed a whole lot.
i finally brought home a piece from the pottery studio tonight. i have a few pieces that need glazing, a few more than need trimming, and one that needs to be fired. i think i'll end up there throwing pieces for a while on friday. i hope i have a better day throwing then than i did tonight.
grrrrr...some days are better spent in bed.
city
drifting off to sleep
feel so weightless
then gravity creeps in
train
across town
sounds like its across the street
blaring horn for blocks and blocks
clamourous diesel serpent
slinking through the city
police
repetitive siren
wails for blocks and blocks
bringing justice?
or just trying to get through
midnight traffic
to Tim Hortons?
buick across the alley
bass thumping
disturbs slumbering pigeons
hear him coming for blocks and blocks
cacophonous gas guzzler
sliding through the alley
voices outside my window
talking about what?
important to someone
right now, not to me
sleep is much more pressing
yet it continues
i miss home
cacophony of a different kind
breeze rustling the aspen leaves
midnight sentinels hooting softly
even the diesel serpent across the highway
is not so intrusive with its call
that kind of cacophony lulls me
not awakes, inspires to write at midnight
but would it do the opposite to a city girl?

Hmmm, is the Juan De Fuca trail the same as the Galloping Goose? I ride my bike down there every day.
