Wow.. this has been an amazing adventure for me. I have good and bad news writing this blog so bare with me.
I just recently moved to Colorado. Why? I threw a dart on a map and that's where it landed. No job, no friends, no family... alll by myself. On the way out here, i decided to make it a road trip for myself. So I went to go see the Grand Canyon, the Hoover Dam, and of course... Las Vegas It has been two weeks now, and I found a job, have a place to live.. and i am slowly but surely finding people that I might be able to call my friends.
Slightly on the bad note.. I unfortunately had to put my dingo down before I left. To let you in on a short story as to why... When i found him 2 years ago, he had the parvo virus, something that is curable but very unlikely. Well, luckily for me and him.. i caught it in time. What we did not know is that he had also caught the distemper virus. Which does not have a cure. It stays dormant for 2 years then it breaks down the dog's system. Well Max, started having chronic seizures about two months ago. They were aggressive ones so i could not be in the room with him. He would go blind and attack everything in his way and barked profusely for 30 mins. It ultimately broke my heart. I gave him medicine for a month, then it stopped working. So i had no other choice than to put him to sleep. He was not only my dog, but he was my best friend, and my son. It has been hard not having him here on this journey with me. Very lonely.
