Random concert memory: seeing Dimebag come out on stage (with Disturbed) and play "Walk" two years in a row at Freaker's Ball in Dallas. I had always hoped to see Pantera live...that was the closest I got. I'm still completely unable to come to any terms with Dimebag's death. Fuck, man, why did our all-loving God have to populate the planet with such shitheads? (Sorry, it's a down day for me on the depression scene. Just means I haven't smoked my medicine yet.) Today's concert memory was brought to you by the fact that I just finished listening to Vulgar Display of Power on the ride out to Denton. I listened to some metal and some hip hop. I love mixing things that don't go together. I love being such an anomaly. I don't belong ANYWHERE - which means i can make my place everywhere.
