Full time teacher has gone MIA???? 
So I'm teaching on, which is very cool, but the predecessor left no curriculum notes and lesson plans, especially for the year 11's and 12's. (Which is sheer bullshit!)
It's ok!!! (ish) But super screw up on my part, having found a draft outline, thought I had to fit soil sciences into only 14 lessons - spent all night, a bottle of sambucca - and serious net trawling to get the year twelves up to speed.
4am, pissed, and 6000 words later, [try fitting cation (chemical) transfer in soils into 40 mins so that the guys (actually mostly girls) can get it and understand it], and mission accomplished!!!!

Very long day at school next day though!
Two days later the state curriculum assessor turns up - says the course is brilliant, but I've squeezed a whole 10 weeks of study into 14 lessons! - 14 lessons were the assessment timings!
Shit!, Shit! and shit! again.
Flaming well expanding this stuff is now doing my head in majorly!!!!
Where are the bloody experts when the work is to be done????
Life is good amigos - flat broke, the rig company still hasn't paid me my last pay, and the Ed department take a month to get it's pay into gear in the new year, so it's baked beans and raw rum for the next couple of weeks!
Still, wouldn't be dead for quids!
