The last two days have actually been kind of great. I went to lyon to see some friends from university, some of them I hadn't crossed paths with for a year or so. I got wasted, and everyone looked happy to see me again, and it felt kind of nice to have a social life again. I seriously think I'm going to work on this =)
Then yesterday I went to see Tinariwen live, mostly because it didn't cost much (I'm broke) and my brother had told me it was awesome etc... So the show was surprisingly good. I mean, it took them 2 or 3 songs to get started, their songs dont differ much from one another, but two hours after they started playing, I suddenly realised I actually was having a great time. And they're fun too.
And today my mother forced me to go buy clothes, with her money of course (again, I'm broke) and, I know some people are going to find it weird and all, but I had to make an effort to go shopping. I hate going shopping usually... I'm not very comfortable with myself, and when I have some sales manager looking at me closely etc, I just take it as an aggression... So I had to force myself but in the end it was ok. I actually bought stuff that I like. Like this ridiculously large sweater :
I'm very sorry about the picture quality. It's my computer's webcam. It's shitty.I dont have a digital camera. I used to but I couldn't use it, I'm not very tech-friendly I guess.
And so tonight I went to see District 9, and I actually liked it. Not loved it, but you know, had a good time. It's rare to have some movie with aliens not for the sake of having insect-like weird anthropomorphic shit on the poster. Here they had something to say. And the main actor really really looks like someone I know. And talks like him too. Very unsetting
