Yay!
I'm back online... Didn't get the iBook in the end, turns out loads of the software I need for my new Uni year only works on the windows platform and I can't be bothered to faff about with running MacOS and Vista in tandem. Still my new machine is fairly pretty, just darker.
All sorts of fun things are happening these days to. Uni starts in one week, that one sorta tops the list, and Best Toys have their first show on monday and other, nice things. Anyone who fancies a fun night of live music in Brum should check out Transmission at The Bristol Pear, Selly Oak, Birmingham, UK.... It's only a small live bands night that a few of my close mates put on, but the atmosphere is great and anything goes. The acts will include metal/indie/electro and basically anything we like and can convince to play!
Do freshers make anyone else feel uncomfortable? That, 'everyone's nervous.... Lets get pissed!' atmosphere is eerie and the girls are so damn flirtatious, I came back from town today (had to get a new keyboard stand for the gig monday) and was hit on, on the train... that kinda thing never happens! I'm not complaining, but I'm not buying it either. In the last 6 months most 18 y/o have seemed to slip into the childlike pile of 'N/A for a relationship'. Plus I don't want to be 'that guy' at the freshers events, I'm a fourth year goddamned it.
Anywho thats enough rambling for one comeback post. I'll think about more interesting things to post soon.
