One busy ass weekend coming up...I'm on the cuff on whether me and some friends of mine are going to Zombie prom at Ground Zero as their oldest dog passed away last night and I'm sure they won't be wanting to go out tonight. My heart goes out to them.
Saturday is mega jam packed as I'm taking part in three portions of my dojos open house demo we are holding from 10am to 1 pm. So lots of Aikido in the morning.
Then off to a beer buddy of mine to harvest the hops he grows for Town Hall. An annual event he throws every year where about a dozen of us get together at his place to take down the vines and pick the hop cones for batches of brew to be made at Town Hall in Minneapolis. We have a huge dinner and plenty of strange craft brews. Now I consider myself a beer geek, but some of these guys are nutsO when it comes to beer. Three of them are in this competiton to see who can explore the worlds most outragous, strangest, obscure beers first as they compare notes and beers from their various world travels to Belgium, Germany, and England. They're way crazy into the beer culture that it makes me look like I don't know anything when I'm hanging with them. We usually wrap up the evening by dark as many of them have kids. So once I get home I have a date with lovely young lady who actually happened to say yes when I asked her out last week. A first, in quite awhile. I don't really have my hopes up for any thing other then trying to have a good time and getting to know one another. Wish me luck.
Then on Sunday I have a critique group meeting to go over some new paintings of mine during the late afternoon, and then I'm suppose to meet up with a few friends for cigars and chess Sunday evening.

Loads of thanks. It really worked out well for us. The color of the walls just added to the gloomy tone.
