Here's a look into the confusing life that makes up who I am...
So today has been interesting. My husband and I have been discussing what are my goals in life, career wise. I have all these talents and it seem like I'm a jumbled mess. I'm a licensed cosmetologist (hairstylist), licensed permanent make up artistist, a tattoo apprentice, SG hopeful/model, beginner photographer and photoshoper It all sounds like I'm a little confused but in my own head it makes sence. My income is now by permanent make up and at the same shop I'm a tattoo apprentice and I make tips. Eventually I want to really get into fashion photography where I can take pictures and work my skills as a hairstylist/make up artist. As a photographer I want to be able to touch up my own pictures by means of photoshop. So in the end my goal is to be a part time tattoo artist/permanent make up artist and a part time fashion photographer/model. I know it sounds busy but it's the kind of person I am. I like being busy and both careers are two elements of me. So basically I know I'm at the bottom of the food chain right now... I'm a tattoo apprentice, I've just become our shops new permanent make up artist. I'm trying to assemble models so I can do photoshoots to build a photography portfolio and I just don't belong in a hair salon. I'ld rather work freelance than work in a hair salon. So by the end of this year my goal is to at least be a beginning tattoo artist and hopefully doing photography, hair and make up for weddings and possibly SG if I can find hopefuls to shoot in my area. I also want to become an SG hopefully by the end of 2009, I'm just going to keep on trying! I actually got a little discouraged with this last set because I did get a few rude comments but screw them. Their comments aren't going to keep me from trying. Plus I 've been getting more positive feed back then bad so that encouraging. It was so dumb yesterday though, I was actually questioning if I was SG quality or not? Then I looked at all the nice things everyone had to say and realized that the pictures weren't SG quality, not me. So like I said as soon as I have the money to get some cute item to add to my shoot I'll be doing another. The only bummer is how long I have to wait but for MR, that is if it ends up there though. We'll see. Anyways so I'm actually making up business cards right now since I am the new permanent make up artist at Lady Luck Tattoo, Hemet, CA! So exciting, it's too bad that it's not a lucritive as you'ld think it would be but it's mostly beacuse of the area I'm in. Yea, so that's my day so far, thank you to anyone who actually reads all of this Hope everyone has a wonderful day
