I really did have a great weekend. I went to three cookouts, I rode to D.C. for the memorial ride, and to end the holiday weekend I fell in love. I had the most amazing night with a women that I hope to spend the rest of my life with. We have a history together, a very rocky, sometimes awkward, time tested history. It all kinda happened by accident. The fact that I really didn't plan on going home for the weekend and that we found ourselves talking on her front porch still seems surreal. We told ourselves we are going to proceed at a snails pace which is turning out more difficult than planned. I want to spend every second I'm awake with her, I want to see her smile, I want to hold her in my arms, I want to lay beside her and kiss her forehead, this snails pace is killing me. I know it's for the best though. It will all be worth the wait.
Here's a pic from my ride.
