One of the directors on The Sopranos, a great guy named John Patterson, died last night. He was only about 60. John was a great guy, and extremely instrumental in the success of the show. The crew and cast really loved him. He directed the season finale every year, along with a ton of other episodes. He directed Tony trying to smother his mother. He directed the death of Big Pussy. He directed that wierd talking fish. That was all John.
He was nominated for a ton of emmys but could care less about any of that and never went to the awards. When asked to submit a photgraph of himself to be broadcast when his name was called, he sent in a picture of himself passed out on the couch in the production office.
He was a great, unique guy and he'll be deeply, deepy missed this season.

My computer is acting psycho. Everytime I go into your SG profile it says "Adding comments... wait och click here" and I havent written anything yet. Weird. I once saw one episode of Bridezilla on cable. It was horrible. So I guess I can relate to you a bit at least ha ha, people who only talk about ONE thing is in general annoying right, even if it's something good. After a while you are just STOP IT. And guess what, the pipemen are back hammering and making loud annoying noises from my second bathroom. I hate them now. They are obviosly really bad at what they are doing because how long can it take to change one fuckin pipe. The never ending story of the pipes. I got a nice letter from a friend from the north today which I read in bed before I got up and now I'll make lunch... sandwiches.
