Wow...
Uhm, what a fucking week?
I only worked wed-fri this week. Barely made any money, but it's fine. Bills are paid. I'm in the clear.
I ended up driving around on Wednesday night after screaming my lungs out @ Brownies to the coverband, and dancing my tuckas off, in a rented 2005 red mustang. FUN.
Thursday was well, Thursday. Kerry came up, and we had round 2 of craziness. I love Thursdays.
Friday was rough because the red tide came thru, and I felt like SHIIIT. Breakfast with the girls was fantastic as usual.
Work was frustrating. I won't get into the details..but people there just enjoy making my life hard but whatever, my boss stands behind me 100% and said that I work my ass off, and I care about my job, which I do...and he cant expect to treat everyone like an asshole and have everyone deal with it. So the asshole apologized, and I left pissed but came home and passed out. Whatever. I'm glad I didn't have to go there for the rest of the weekend.
Saturday was Kerry's brother's graduation party. Lots of booze, great food, and good company. I had a blast, and came home with over a dozen bruises and fucked up knees due to being tosssed very roughly in the pool by her brothers. Love that family.
Sunday was my own family's party, and that was fun too. After I left there, I drove down to Justin's and stayed there til this morning. In my opinion, we had the best weekend together that we've had in a long time. We saw a good movie, smoked blunts, listened to werd music with the windows down, driving fast not giving a fuck. I got to sleep next to him (even tho it was on the futon in his parent's living room bkz his mom had a mini-freak out about me sleeping in his bed.hah.), and slept really fucking good too. Last nite we road rollercoasters and screamedo our lungs out like 2 little kids..
Your face is
So contagious
It wears announcements
It leaves me breathless

So yeah, today I spent a majority of my afternoon sitting in the living room with my dad going thru all of my pop-pop's old stuff...including all of these pictures from him in the war (He was a Coporal in the Army during WWII), and medals and pins with Nazi insignia. It was probably the coolest shit ever. So much history... He had pix of my Dad as a kid, and pictures of my Grandmother whom I've never met. It was cool to read the letters he sent home from Germany to his parents, saying how they freed a camp of French/Polish refugees...I never really knew any of this stuff...It was just cool to see all of this stuff that had so much history.
It was also nice to sit and talk with my Dad for a few hours. He's not been doing too well lately, his memory is getting worse and worse. He repeats stories, forgets where he's put things, you ask him something, and he just has this blank look on his face. It breaks my heart. My father is not even 60 years old, but his memory is worse after the stroke than my 91 year old grandfather's is. I'm just scared for him. One of his co-workers approached him in work bkz they were concerned about his memory loss, bkz it was noticeable. She was worried that he was showing signs of Alzheimer's. Wow.
He'll be okay, but I'm still worried.
I don't know.
I was supposed to go see Justin get his new tatt tonite, but I was stuck at the Nissan dealership for 3 hours today while my Dad got his new car. OH YEAH. My dad bought a brand new Nissan, and gave me his 99 Saturn. WORD UP. I got rid of the shitty Nissan that I had, and now I'm driving a much nicer car. Yay.
At least something good right?
Ashley came home to hang out with me, so I'm going to go pay attention to her now.
How was everyone's week?
