yay! i have thanksgiving plans! now pray nobody dies in the next 8 hours and wants to donate their eyes.
i'm going over to h's parents' house to sit by the fire, knit, and eat homemade food. i'm bringing a cheese ball.
my favorite thanksgiving ever wass a couple of years ago when my (then) boyfriend and i hosted all our friends at our little studio on 23rd. we moved the dining table into the living room area; it took up to whole room! he cooked the turkey, i made everything else: mashed potatoes, marinated asparagus, rolls, i don't remember what else. we had wine and m figured he drank over a gallon of beer over the course of the day. i think we eventually had 8 people or so over at one time. those were good times, and i miss that boy. hell, i miss all those friends too.
