Wizardworld LA is this weekend.
That should be pretty fun.
My coworkers are all "Are you gonna get a hotel to stay the night down there?"
It's in fucking Long Beach! That's like... 45 minutes from LA. Fucking west coast pussies.
And the really pathetic thing is they're all from the east coast!
Mary's.
So what else what else?
I'm writing again, which is nice. Therapy has been working wonders for my mental state. It's really great.
I gotta say, buying this new computer was one of the best things I ever did. My previous one was so old and a pain in the ass. This one, I haven't had a single problem.
And iTunes is fantastic! I was nosing around Tower earlier tonight and I was gonna get this Wilco album, but it was $18.99, Then I thought "I'll just see if it's on iTunes," and I just bought it for $10. Instead, I got the new Hellboy action figures, which fucking ROOOOCK except the one guy Kronen who's a Nazi in the comic book with the big swords on his arms isn't dressed in his Nazi uiform with his arm swords, which I admit is a weird thing to be disappointed in, but he looked really cool in the comics, and I know he wears that outfit in the movie cuz I saw it in the trailer, Man I hope the movie does good.
Dawn of the Dead comes out Friday. I'm making a point to see it in a theater that's in a mall even though I'm sure that whole consumerism subtext will be tossed out the window. I'm not against the film, mind you. Not even against the idea of running zombies. I just know that the people that made it weren't concerned with sending any sort've message and are just looking to cash in on what they think is a fad.
Sometimes I hate Hollywood.
Then I stop, realize what I do for a living, consider quitting, but instead resolve to one day make a truly great movie.
In other exciting news, I finally figured out how to resize my photos so they would meet the memory requirements for the site, so there's a few photos of me in my pics.
I would like to state, for the record that I own LOTS of white t shirts and took to wearing them quite frequently a few years back as a statement that I refuse to be a walking billboard for clothing companies. (Also I moved to LA, where it's like 80 degrees every day and figured I'd try and rock the Fonzie look for a while.) I would like to take this opportunity to thank the good people of Hanes for keeping my boney ribcage covered up, lo these many years.
Eyyyyyyyyyyy!
