So right now Kt is up in Philly checkin' out Slim Cessna's Auto Club with Blake. This weekend, my Pop and my brother are gonna trek up to see the Astros take on the 'Nats. Both these events fall square in the catagory of "things that I would be doin'". But instead, I'm sittin' at home alone after a long night of work.
Damn, it's a good life sometimes.
I like seein' the people that I love doin' things that I know will make them happy, when the things that they are doin' are the things that make me happy (hah! parse that). Havin' the chance to inspire a positive experience in others is an honor. When it's also someone you love, it's a gift.
Besides, it's not like I didn't get to see Slim n' Munly play at DC9 last night. And damn shit no shit, brothers and sisters, there ain't too many things better than that!
*Update!*
Kt just called me from the show so I could hear the first song of S.C.A.C.'s encore. I'd never heard it 'fore last night, but I'd guess it to be called somethin' along the lines of "Leave You Cryin'". One of the saddest songs I ever did hear, just mournful. Beautifully beautifully mournful.

I can just imagine Slim sounding like that. I really can.
